Here we review books for young adults, normally dystopian, horror, paranormal romance, that thread of things. We also read a lot of manga, and occasionally read other types of books, possibly because our book club is shadowing an award or something like that.
Thank you for coming from Crazy for Books if you're new to this site, and if you're an old follower thank you for coming back!
Please settle down, have tea and cake with us, and if you like this blog, please follow us!
Now for this weeks question...
If you were given the chance to spend one day in a fictional world (from a book), which book would it be from and what would that place be?
Doesn't this sound kind of familiar...oh well... Once again, the world of Black Butler, by Yana Toboso. (review of volumes 1&2 can be found here) Demons, shinigami, chainsaws, zombies, circuses and tea in the Victorian era? Love. Now your turn...leave a link and I'll stop by at some point in the distant future...
PS At time of writing, DBT has 75 followers. I promise to do a giveaway if we ever reach 100!
How could I resist following a blog called death books and tea?! I haven't read black butler yet but I've been meaning to for quite awhile now, it's on my TBR pile...the only problem is that there are tonnes of other books on there too!
ReplyDeleteYes! Kuroshitsuji! I want to have tea with Ciel *drools* ka-wa-ii! Hell yeah, circuses, chainsaws, and shinigami. Mind you, if I wanted shinigami, I'd probably go to Death Note (Light Yagami!!). I opted for a less exciting choice for my hop though...
ReplyDeleteCouldn't help but follow, manga is my first love♥
Hikari @Imaginary Reads
New follower here. Nice blog name. I haven't had the pleasure of reading your choice, but it sounds pretty interesting! Have a great weekend. :)

I'm here from the Hop and the minute I saw your Grim Reaper at the top, I knew I had to follow. I have a slight (okay, huge) fascination with the anthropomorphic personification of Death.
ReplyDeleteI've never read Black Butler, but I'm sure that it's great. I was unoriginal this week and chose Diagon Alley from Harry Potter.

I've never heard of those books before, but I'm off to check them out! They sound fantastic, and I'm really into historical fiction right now.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!

Here's ours & what we've been up to this week!
thanks for stopping by my blog!! o0o0o0 I never heard of this book but it sounds cool!
ReplyDeleteHey, I love your tea rating system! I voted in your Zombies vs. Unicorn poll, can't wait to see what the final results will be.
ReplyDeleteJust hopping by and wanted to say hello. I love the name of your blog BTW. I just started watching Black Butler and it's an insane series. I haven't watched too much anime before, but I dig this series. It's pretty nuts. Either way, I like the site and I will keep up with your updates.
ReplyDeleteI'm stopping by really, really late from the Blog Hop (I was at BEA all week). I put the above books on my TBR pile...the world does sound awesome. I would love to follow, but stupid Blogger! I'll stop by again when it's fixed. I love the name of your blog by the way, especially since I'm a tea drinker and don't like coffee.
